Responsibilities of the Controller will include:
Assist in development and achievement of the organization’s financial goals.
Primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities of the company including financial planning, budgeting, cash flow and accounting software reporting responsibility.
Ensure compliance with all tax, licensing and regulatory requirement by working with the appropriate agencies and outside advisors.
Interpret and advise senior leadership on the financial results, forecasts, trends and other analysis
Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, budget to actual cost, and other supplemental reports and provide direction and explanation to owners for decision making.
Be a trusted team member with a mindset that no task is too big or too small.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record of success within a growing organization. Experience in the construction industry or a related field is important but other relevant experience will be considered. Possession of excellent judgment and communication skills and a degree in accounting or finance and CPA is required. Leaders with strong Microsoft Excel, datamining, analytic and technical skills as well as knowledge of the industry environment and construction project workflow are encouraged to apply.
