Responsible for applying principles of accounting to assist in the completion of month-end closing process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. This includes providing financial reporting, analysis, and coordinating and executing audits.
The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for pricing efforts in collaboration with internal business.
Maintain the general ledger
Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Assist in cash management and treasury functions, including monitoring debt covenant and compliance
Direct the monthly closing process, including balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist Finance Director of engagement and decision-making in pricing efforts; Maintain an over-arching pricing strategy that leads to meeting or achieving target profit margins
Prepare monthly financial reports (BS/IS/SCF) for review
Analyze financial reports for key trends or deviations from expected results
Assist with the on-going configuration and maintenance of the business management systems supporting accounting and operation; Identify efficiencies and process improvements by using/enhancing financial systems functionality
Provide accounting guidance to all areas of the company
Monitor and execute internal control procedures to ensure that company assets are adequately protected
Prepare year-end external audit schedules and coordinate external tax preparation
Cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate billing

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Knowledge of financial, accounting and payroll software applications
Knowledge of federal and state regulations in related financial areas such as income tax, treasury, payroll, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
Detail oriented, highly accurate, strong organizational and analytical skills
Effective research, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Ability to streamline financial processes to increase efficiency without sacrificing accuracy and quality
Pricing experience in a service based environment
Highly adaptable, flexible, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working in a fast paced environment
